A. J. Hayes is a poet and publisher living in Baltimore, MD. His writing has appeared in twenty publications, including Scribble, Genesis Science Fiction Magazine , and Black Magnolias Literary Journal. He’s the author of 18 books, including short story collection Popular Television (2011) and The Collected Poems of A. Jarrell Hayes (2013). He writes fiction as A. Jarrell Hayes, and was named Poet of the Month (October 2013) by The Poetry Company LLC. In 2013 he founded indie press Hidden Clearing Books, LLC (www.hiddenclearingbooks.com).
