A Perfect America

by A.B. Wilson Jr.

What a great country we live in.

It is full of love and hope.

There is no such thing as racism or sexism.

Everybody is equal.

Everybody gets their individual share of the economic prosperity.

There is no welfare and nobody is asking for financial aid.

There is still the upper class and the middle class,
but there are no proverty stricken areas.

Every young American is getting a good education
and some day will contribute to America's growth.

There is truth and integrity at all levels.

There is no such thing as illegal violations.

All people in this country are one nationality. - American.

Stereo-types do not exist.

All Americans are judged by the range of their ability and not by their
     physical characteristics.

We can walk the streets day or night.

There are feelings of love and respect for each other.

The streets are clean.

Drug pushers and drug addicts do not exist.

There is nothing to fear.

The people that govern us are concerned and dedicated
to the good of all Americans.

The government is run with honor and positive ideas.

There is no corruption any place.

It would be certainly be nice to see America like this.

Unfortunately this is a fantasy of mine.

The realities are truly frightening.

It will take Americans working together
to make my fantasy a reality.
