Death to the Enemy

by A.B. Wilson Jr.

We send many troops into battle.

They have many weapons.

Those troops are out to kill.

They are trained to destroy.

Punish the enemy.

The leaders spread rhetoric to hate the enemy.

The enemy is bad.

The enemy must be destroyed.

Death and destruction to the enemy at any cost.

The value of the life of the enemy is worthless.

The troop move forward.

They must be cautious.

That enemy may fight back.

Some of the brave troops could fall victim.

It is so violent.

There is blood and destruction.

It is not clear what it's all for.

The air is thick with smoke from bombd and guns.

The troops are in some danger.

They are saving them from that awful enemy.

I have heard that many times before.

Death to the enemy.

There have been so many enemies.

I suppose there will be other enemies in the future.

More troops will be in danger.

There will be more blood, pain, death, and destruction.

Death to the enemy.

We shall be the victor.

The enemy will be destroyed.

We will prevail at any cost.

Death to the enemy.

A fight with no name.

There are so many enemies.

Enemies all around.

Even some enemies in your own backyard.

Get that enemy.

Our leaders will pick and choose.

Death to all the enemies.

The enemy is everywhere.
