Woke up this morning
Head pounding
As disturbing thoughts
Tried to escape
Before I could record 
My findings
To distribute to the masses
Insight
Pressures of succeeding
In this 
Bias world
Cold and damp insults
Worm their way inside
Festering
Creating this stench
Suffocating 
Society shovels on more shit
Full of ignorance
Our history is being lost
Raising levels of incompetence
Mind trap, no doubt
Light of knowledge is being BLACKED-out
As we are more concerned with faddish fashions
Lacking compassion
Tricked out luxury cars
Mental roadblocks we need to discard
When it comes to sharing knowledge
Black America
Hear our forefather’s cries
To build a better life
So open up your eyes
And
Your mind
For we are being buried alive!
